A Look Back at Brubeck Jazz Summit 2022

Tunes with immaculate views! The Brubeck Jazz Summit was unreal!

The inaugural Brubeck Jazz Summit was a success. Held on July 10-16, 34 jazz students from the US, UK, and Australia, along with an all-star faculty roster gathered in Lake Tahoe for a week full of jazz masterclasses, workshops, jam sessions, and concerts. The faculty included Chad LB, artistic director and saxophone, Sean Jones, trumpet, Connie Han, piano, Gilad Hekselman, guitar, Rodney Whitaker, bass, and Eric Harland, drums, with Chris and Dan joining as guest artists.

We're so proud of all these young musicians who brought their talents to Lake Tahoe for this special week!

Thank you to our amazing faculty and staff, and especially to Brubeck Living Legacy's partner, Classical Tahoe, for hosting the Summit and bringing the Brubeck family’s jazz vision to Lake Tahoe to promote awareness, interest and the understanding of jazz and its role in American and international culture. We look forward to next year!
