Performance Today celebrates Dave Brubeck’s centennial with a national broadcast of Chris Brubeck’s Time Out Suite on December 2nd, and again on the weekend marking Dave Brubeck’s 100th birthday on December 6th, 2020. The performance held in January at San Joaquin Delta College’s Warren Atherton Auditorium was the world debut of the arrangement that highlighted The Dave Brubeck Quartet’s landmark LP, “Time Out,” with Stockton Symphony’s director of music and Chris Brubeck’s frequent collaborator Peter Jaffe conducting.
